PGB organised a visit cum “gotong-royong” programme in conjunction with the Chinese New Year (“CNY”) celebration at the Rumah Orang Tua Pekan Nenas.

The volunteer team, led by Madam Leong Siew Foong, Executive Director of PGB, began cleaning at 10.30 a.m., followed by decorating the old folks’ home with CNY decorations.

A total of nine senior citizens were treated to the traditional Yee Sang and a delectable buffet lunch. They were also given ang pow, mandarin oranges, and a goodie bag containing daily necessities such as rice, milo, cereal drink, coffee, and biscuits.
